George W. Bush (1946-)
The Republican George W. Bush is the son of the former U.S. President George Herbert Walker Bush and the grandson of the U.S. Senator Prescott Sheldon Bush. He become the 43rd President of the United States of America in 2001.
Bush was raised in Texas with his siblings and later studied at the Philips Andover Academy in Massachusetts. In 1968 he graduated from Yale University. He was also a fighter pilot in the Air National Guard in Texas.
From 1972 to 1975, Bush studied at Harvard Business School and then worked with his father in the oil industry.
